Many a blogger has sung the praises of Paris’s culinary prowess. Baskets of HTML have been spilled on her celestial croissants, eye-moistening macaroons and oh-my-word oysters.
Paris by Food respectfully destroys the cliché. It enters the restaurant, checks the chef’s passport and peers down the garbage chute. It munches on crickets, inspects the breadbasket and takes a gulp of soupe populaire.
Paris by Food is a collective project by journalism students at Sciences Po’s School of Journalism, under supervision of Peter Gumbel.
